Making the Grade
Using student test scores to evaluate teachers is unfair.
THE NEW PROPOSED TEACHER EVALUATION
From the moment that The SCEA heard about the new proposed evaluation for SIG schools, we worked to learn more, inform our members, study the plan, and develop an alternative. The SCEA Leaders have been in several meetings talking to education officials and anyone who would listen, helping them understand why this proposed evaluation is not good for our teachers or students. Watch our site for frequent updates.
The SCEA is the only professional teacher organization who took lead and is staying actively involved in this important issue.
