What is the "Teacher of the Month" contest?
The South Carolina Education Association's "Teacher of the Month" contest was designed to recognize public school teachers in South Carolina who have gone the extra mile to make a significant impact on youth throughout the Palmetto state. Encourage your friends and fellow classmates to visit this website from August through March to nominate their teacher for The SCEA's "Teacher of the Month" award. Each month a teacher will be recognized for his or her exceptional contribution to education and will be featured that month in a statewide public service campaign on broadcast television!
Teachers do not have to be a member of The SCEA to be nominated for or recognized by the 'Teacher of the Month' promotion.
