IThe
Student – South Carolina Education Association (The S-SCEA) is a
department of The South Carolina Education Association
representing college/university students who are preparing to
become teachers.
Students
constantly work through The S-SCEA as their pre-professional
association to improve the teacher education programs on
campus. We are affiliated with the Student National Education
Association (SNEA).
We have:

chapters across South Carolina

a state
elected chairperson, who sits on The SCEA Executive Board

Praxis I
and II workshops offered several times each year
-
two
leadership conferences – fall and spring
-
participate in 2 national conferences -- Summer Leadership
Conference (June), and Fall Connections Conference (November).
