NEA ESP Leadership Institute
NEA is excited to announce the launch of NEA ESP Leadership Institute (NEA ESPLI), formerly known as NEA ESP Leaders for Tomorrow.
NEA ESPLI is a powerful leadership development program, grounded in diversity, equity and cultural competence that brings together the overarching NEA Leadership Competencies to train ESP members to be effective leaders in their associations. ESPLI is designed and collaboratively delivered by ESP members. This 11- month program requires participants to commit to three in-person trainings, webinars, outside reading and completion of a capstone project designed to elevate the goals of their association and NEA’s core values.
All K-12 - higher education NEA ESP members who meet the application criteria may apply. We anticipate receiving more applications than we have space to accommodate so we have a rigorous selection process that includes multiple levels of review, including soliciting feedback from affiliates per NEA policy. In order to ensure a strong pool of applicants, please assist us in sharing this opportunity with ESP members in your state.
Additional information about NEA ESPLI and applications can be found at nea.org/ESPLI.
The SCEA's professional development conferences are held at our headquarters office located at 421 Zimalcrest Drive in Columbia.
