Take Action. Stand Up for Truth!

All children deserve an honest education, and educators need the freedom to teach the honest, complete facts about historical events without political censorship.
The SCEA and NEA logos appear with the hashtag #TeachTruth over a gradient background with a palmetto tree and sailboat.

Public education must value honesty about who we are; integrity in how we treat others; and courage to do what’s right by listening to, learning from, and respecting diverse viewpoints.

The House Education and Public Works Committee has concluded public testimony on H.4325, H.4343, H.4392, H.4605, and H.4799, bills that seek to pit parents against educators. On their surface, these bills claim to focus on banning Critical Race Theory but in actuality impose top-down censorship policies that limit what history our children can learn and what books they can read.

Public Testimony may be over but the fight for Truth is not.

We need you to take action now!

What can I do?

Right now it is most important to reach out to the members of the House Education and Public Works Committee:
