How The SCEA/NEA Helps Members

The SCEA and NEA combine resources to help educators.

Our Member Advocacy Center works in partnership with NEA to provide a variety of services to members in need. The following are examples of the one-on-one assistance The SCEA provides to members who contact us for help.

  • phone consultation
  • filing appeals
  • disciplinary action
  • failed evaluations
  • rebuttal letters
  • representation in meetings with administration
  • contract non-renewal
  • terminations
  • conflicts with the administration or colleagues
Legal Services

The SCEA and NEA jointly fund the Legal Services benefit. This benefit provides assistance to members who are facing termination, contract non-renewal, or certificate revocation.

Confidentiality

All calls, email, and communication with us are confidential. We do not make contact with the employer or take any action without the member's request.
