Keep public funds in public schools

Take Action

Tell the Senate Education Committee to OPPOSE voucher expansion!

On February 28, South Carolina House leadership introduced H.5164, which expands the Education Scholarship Trust Fund voucher scheme to universally apply across South Carolina by the 2026-2027 school year.

Public funds belong in public schools. We have seen in other states what happens when voucher schemes are expanded: accountability for taxpayer dollars decreases, cost to taxpayers skyrockets, and the very students our elected officials claim to want to help are the ones who suffer as a result.

Tell the Senate Education Committee to oppose this voucher expansion and keep public funds in the public schools that 94% of SC students attend.
