CEWL INDUCTION INSTITUTE


Developed by Dr. Marcella Wine-Snyder, The Center for Educator Wellness and Learning’s (CEWL) Induction Institute is a comprehensive induction program designed to provide new teachers and other early career educators in South Carolina with the necessary support, resources, and mentorship to foster their professional growth and success in education.

 

CEWL BEANS

Join Angelica McDonald, Dr. Marcella Wine-Snyder, and Todd Scholl for this bi-monthly podcast about issues facing induction teachers. Angelica is an English teacher in the Pee Dee region. She is a SC Council of the Holocaust Fellowship recipient and co-host of the Crayons and Pencils podcast. Dr. Wine-Snyder is CEWL's Teaching & Learning Specialist and creator of our CEWL Induction Institute. Todd is CEWL's Lead Learner, focusing on wellness initiatives.

CEWL BITES

CEWL Bites is a series created by registered dietician, Audrey Calianos. Audrey provides nutrition tips, recipes, and health information for educators. Audrey is passionate about mental AND physical well-being, firmly holding the belief that these two aspects are intricately interconnected.

CEWL BOOKS

CEWL Books is produced by Cassie Owens Moore, a school librarian from Oconee County. Each episode features a banned book. CEWL believes that educators and students should have access to a wide variety of books that reflect the beauty of human diversity and help all of us understand the stories of ALL people

CEWL CONVERSATIONS

CEWL enjoys giving platforms to our members and education thought leaders so they can discuss the issues that matter most to them. Our panel discussions are designed to advocate for the policies and legislation we need to deliver the schools you and your students deserve.

CEWL Schools

Nurin Willis hold conversations about intersectional issues in education. They are a history and politics nerd, teacher, social justice activist, lifelong learner, and purveyor of dad jokes, committed to making good trouble as long as it’s still necessary.

CEWL STORIES

CEWL Stories is produced by Mindi Penn, an Informatics and Theatre Educator from Horry County. In each episode, Mindi shares inspirational stories about her experiences that will make you laugh, cry, and. smile.

CEWL VIEWS

CEWL Views brings you written pieces on education policy, law, and philosophy. Our lead writer is Steve Nuzum. Steve is a former teacher and passionate advocator for students and educators.
