Purpose and Mission
As public school employees, early career educators must make our voices heard to ensure that every student has a quality education. We have the power to collectively raise our voices by belonging to South Carolina Early & Noble Educators (SCENE). SCENE supports early career educators in their first 10 years of their career. This statewide network engages and empowers educators to RISE (recruit, impact, support, and educate). The purpose of the South Carolina Early and Noble Educators is to support, engage, and advocate for early career educators within The SCEA to R.I.S.E. by:
- Recruiting early-career educators
- Impacting the profession of education in South Carolina for early-career educators through advocacy.
- Supporting early-career educators through meaningful community
- Educating early-career educators through meaningful professional development
SCENE’s vision is to support early career education employees focused on building community and solution-based advocacy.
SCENE’s mission is to amplify our unified voices to ensure that early career education employees experience success while serving and collaborating with students, families, educators, and stakeholders.
